Back when we had 13 channels, Mom used to say: "Don't sit so close, you'll ruin your eyes." I wonder what she'd say about the Internet...

So, you think you're so special because you keep hoping a woman dressed as a policeman would rough you up a bit?? Read When is a Fetish Not a Fetish at my other blog and get a clue....
But am I special I want to be the Policewoman? :-)
Seriously, I read the linked blog yesterday and found it to be a great education. I had assumptions based on inaccurate information, it's always good to know the truth.
I wrote that particular post to pitch to either Nerve.com or Salon...because I found that there's so many people who have no clue about fetishes and keep using the terms the wrong way. It drives me bonkers! So, I thought I'd clear the air a bit and try to make some sense of it for people. I'm glad to knw I've been able to do just that.
I've decided to pitch it. I've had enough of sitting on the sidelines with pitching to publications. I always get the feeling that it's not good enough...then there's the catch 22 of publications wanting submissions from freelancers but only from freelancers who have clips...(smacks self in head)...yeah, they don't call it freelance for nothin'!
Best of luck with that, Tish! You can do this. There are ways to get around no clips. Editors mostly want articles from freelancers who write well, and have an interesting article.
thanks Mac...I really feel like I'm on a roll these days...don't know what's got into me. Maybe it's years of wicked bad-assed depression finally lifting...or maybe it's getting out of the house and seeing myself in the larger scheme of things. Who knows, really...and the explanations really aren't all that important. It is what it is, and I'm gonna run with it!

T.
there was supposed to be a word between special and I up there - probably "if"
Did you pitch it or decide not to?

You've already got those qualities going for you.
